Zubax GNSS with UAVCAN

One of the weaknesses of the Pixhawk hardware platform versus DJI has been the on-board communication architecture. While DJI has used a canbus network almost from the inception, Pixhawk hardware has relied on I2C for GPS connectivity which is more prone to noise and interference and hence less reliable.

With the increasing availability of UAVCAN compatible hardware components for Pixhawk based flight controllers, on-board connectivity will improve significantly over the next year.

The Zubax GNSS V2 is one such product with UAVCAN connectivity to the flight controller.
